It is in town of Aguada. A few miles (not walking distance) from Rincon beaches, or a few miles from northern Aquadila beaches.
You will need to rent a car for that one, so it may result in being expensive.

Actually it's not really one of those show up and rent kinda places anymore.

A few years ago (6yrs) the last time I was there- my friends and I found a number of houses to rent weekly and monthly off of a regular old search rental website. You know- like rentals.com or something. Just do a google search. Ended up staying at a place that was owned by someone 20 min from my place in Nj.

The whole hostile bit is kinda fun and all- but if your going with a group you might as well rent a place - it will be funner.

Btw- forget staying within walking distance to the beach - unless you got some cash. Like Barry said.

Just rent a car- it's (was) dirt cheap to rent a car there- and there are places with MUCH better waves then rincon- within a 45 min drive. Plus when it's flat in rincon (which happens often) there mifhy be spots that pick up swell and be waist/chest.

There's tons on maps on the web. Do some research- probably the easiest surf trip ever.

It's a lot of fun too.

Looks like I'm headed to Rincon area for a couple weeks in February, but I can't bring a bodyboard. I'll bring swimfins and a handplane, though. Anyone got any recommendations on how to obtain or borrow a bodyboard while I'm there? I'm not going through the trouble of flying with my own, and when I leave there it's very impractical for me to carry one with me where I'm going. Thanks.

All the Lids you can rent there are straight doo doo PE creased and warped to the max..you ever try and ride PE boards in 85 degree water

Bodyboard bags cost the same as regular bags or free as a checked bag depending on the airlines

I just spoke to my buddy a minute ago, he and his wife and another couple and a buddy are staying in Rincon in February on the beach in a house between pools and parking lots for $225 a night. That's $75 a night for him and his chica, but they are renting a mini van which he said will be expensive. And flights just went up to $250 round trip from Miami.
