even tho long island looks better on paper, i think new england will have the goods. I feel like the surf forcast sights always overhype that place, which works for me.

I'm sure it will be good up North too... But I don't think this one is overhyped for NY... Solid SE swell and N/NW winds will certainly deliver the goods.

yea im sure it will be good i just dont understand how their calling for it to be twice the size in LI then rhode island. rhode island likes those swell and conditions just as much, and according to the wave heights on the models rhode island is seeing the same dose of it as Montauck. Who knows, maybe its getting shadowed a bit but ill take it as a blessing if it keeps the crowds headed in one direction

Prudent call (versus Jersey). We may just end up surfing together Monday (although I may not go all the way down there if it is firing in town).

Tomorrow looks like the window is AM. Wondering if it will get organized enough (SW @ 10-15 in morning), before the real wind picks up at noon 25+++...still off shore but gusting to 40. I am thinking Town from 9ishh until winds blow to hard. I am definitely going to be checking it out.

models keep on changing, these damn strong ass winds are really making it hard to decide on where to head tomorrow. to stay here for a fun window in the am or risk for a small window in the am in northern outer banks with a little more size... Monday is really looking like the day

Foreasts/models are showing a range of 110 degrees SE to 79 degrees ENE .... which would make a huge difference in how this thing rolls into my area.

Slash... I think your the only one on here I've seen to notice or understand the actual degree of swell... Cool!

Cep, full moon and strong tidal surge. I am guessing there we be some serious flooding.

slo, certainly complicated from a broad perspective but locally figure it out.

    Sig, have fun

757, don't sleep on Sunday we may be surprised on the local winds before Monda
