CJ Hobgood is having his retirement from the world tour party tonight at Longboarders on Clematis Street in downtown WPB. William Kimball's band and several others will be playing. ESA awards from 6-7. Party starts at 3 pm goes till late. I have always liked CJ and Damien, watching them grow up, and their no prisoners approach to big waves. They also lead a good life of fishing, surfing and family. If any of you all are in town stop on in. It should be epic.

i was wondering why they were doing it in wpb it seems like a bunch of hobos and thug types last time i drove though.
Tom Curren's band is playing later on, rumors of one other world champ showing up,its a block party with bands and pro skateboarders and groms hitting half pipes in the street, and we just got home because the wife is ....you know, a wife. I talked to CJ, he remembered me from his grom days surfing here, the Cocoa Beach Surf Mafia is on the way down, I heard. The Blue Heron Thugs were playing live at O'Sheas right down the street. I may have to run out for some ice cream in a bit. Maybe I'll see some good surfing tomorrow. It's supposed to get good.
