    Dude

Why would you want a sand bar? Shore break barrels are our turf. Espclially because stand ups don't like it.

Everywhere is a sandbar around here & changes constantly.

Bayberry Dunes in N Bethany has been fun the last couple of little swells. :D

Just find your own spots. Search up and down the coast. It feels alot better when you find an epic sandbar yourself rather than someone just telling you where one is. Do you really think people are going to want to tell you where a really good sandbar is....when its just going to make the lineup more crowded?

If you have free time..drive around during the day and park and walk out and try to spot some nice sand bar breaks up and down the coast on your own. Come back to them in the evening or early the next morning (if its in the public beach areas where you can't surf during the day) and you'll have your own secret spot with maybe a couple other surfers at the most but possibly you'll be able to surf by yourself. Or you can go to one of the 3-4 known spots in MD or Deleware and fight the lineups...your choice. When I have the spare time, I find driving around and finding my own break very relaxing and gratifying.

summer time traditionally ruins the sandbars in the north oc/fenwick area. They generally come back when we get some wind swells to erode some of the beach and reform the sand bars.
