I don't get it Barry, aren't fads something that passes eventually? If you surf for decades until you die or until you are unable to physically do it anymore, is it really a fad? Sorry, gotta disagree, it's not a fad for me, and if you have been surfing as long as you claim, it's not a fad for you either. Others, yes, it may be a fad. That's who fills up the used board racks at the shops or filling up the Craiglist ads.
Well nothing is forever right? But who knows, maybe we'll get to bring our quiver with us in the afterlife lol
"for most" and for the rest of us, it's a life long journey that is part of the fiber of our being....I am talking deep down in ones soul man.
Everyone needs to sit back, relax and watch the entire first (and only) season of John From Cincinnati. That explains it all.
You may be right about the pros & hos, but I have my doubts. I can see a few who might be on here from time to time. I mean, this IS the #1 surf predictin website in all the land. And I don't see how being on a surf predictin website forum would remove anybody from being a soul surfer though. Is there a rule somewhere that says soul surfers aren't allowed to be on the internet? lol Seriously, I get why you might think that, but I don't think talking to other surfers on the web has anything to do with their actual surfing. Does being a soul surfer require going feral or something? Serious question.
