That Sucks. We feel in you NJ. For the most part we only have metered parking in the summer with some exceptions (new highend complexes that suck). Is this going to be year round in VB? That would suck but at least you aren't paying for beach access yet.

Coolhand Luke is a classic. That would be great if someone cut down the meters everytime they put them up.

That is INSANE. Where does that money go? I've never gone there when someone is at the booth. It's more expensive than IMAX, but instead of being disappointed by an pointlessly 3D film, you get disappointed by fat sh*tty waves and a bunch of Jabronis.

As far as Virginia parking meters go.... I'm sure you would get out of a parking ticket if you weren't able to pay the meter. Here in NY, you always get out of the ticket if the machine is broken; just be sure to take a picture.

I could only imagine, if someone were to do something terrible, like squirt SUN CURE into each coin or card slot, of every single parking meter, that a lot of people would get out of tickets, if they were issued at all. Surely all the parking folk would be complaining to the officers.

Considering such a simple and effective plan, we can only hope that it doesn't fall into the hands of some teenagers, or worse yet, adults who would convince the underaged to take action in exchange for beer or cigarettes. Crazy thing is, the SUN CURE could be applied quickly and under the cover of darkness, hardening at first light. Such a mischievous thing to do, I hope no one considers it.

Yes Stanky. When people realized divine bloodright was a scam, and began lopping off royal heads, the royalty needed a new system, one which was was more difficult to understand. One which gave the illusion of access and meritocracy. Thus the proliferation of the financial industry.

We still have Royalty. Difference is, you can't get an angry mob to burn down the mansions, because now the knights, who have sworn to protect the king, have helicopters and machine guns.

But hey, we live in the greatest country in the world. They let me have a gun of my own, and a brand new pickup truck, with NO MONEY DOWN! What could go wrong?
