it takes no skill whatsoever to be a photographer.i see it as an excuse.swimming out and taking pics is cool and challenging,but sitting on the beach taking pics is a no brainer lol.mack occasionally posts some good shots from the lineup,but hes a little herb.

I been taking pics my whole life,not surf pics,but shyt like crazy car accidents I drive past,fires,and other crazy random stuff. heres an old pic from 911.lol I got 55'' tv boxes filled with photos from over the years.my brother has some crazy 911 pics,from a helicopter pov.hes a firefighter,not fdny,nj but they took all the help he could get.its cool having a digital camera now,no need to go get film developed,i bet mack doesn't even know what 35mm film is

Does everyone on here know that Mack.. aka little trust fund, brown nosing, surf-spot-naming whore... got arresting during hurricane Sandy for looting houses in his parents wealthy neighborhood? I think they need to be made aware of this, along with his so called NJ "pro" buddies. I know some North Shore photogs that wanted nothing to do with him. Crying how people are stealing his angles at jenks....wwaaaahhh .how many creative ways can you shoot from the beach.

I agree Ryan mack might be the biggest douche to ever grace the east coast. But for all you idiots saying surf photography is the easiest thing ever in the world give me a ****ing break. Your the same people who can't use a camera if it's not on green box mode. And you will justify it with the excuse that oh bro **** that I don't watch I just get in the water and shread. **** out of here I shred and shoot all in the same day.

so whats the hard part of pressing a button to take a picture lol?bro do u even know how to put film into a camera lol?zoom in zoom out.

and when u have a 5k camera that takes 20 pics a second,now how do u compare that to a camera that u press the button and it takes 2 seconds before it actually takes the pic.so u have to press the button before the wave even breaks so u get the barrel shot,but even that isn't hard.everybody got iphones nowadays except me,im sure theres a million new photogs out there.lol I took a black and white pic of a lampshade,pics for sale bruddah

do I know how to load a camera? actually yes I do buddy. and I ve had several shots published over the past few years. More often than not I get atleast 1 shot run in an article somewhere from every swell we get on the east coast. you can give someone a 5k camera with a 20 fps burst and if they don't know what they are doing they aren't going to get anything worth a crap. or even if they get lucky if they don't know how to PP its going to look like **** if you are shooting raw. theres a million new photogs out there every day your right but 99 percent of them cant hack it. if it was easy everyone would be getting there work published BRUDDAH. and fyi I think ryan mack is a total ****head but don't group all photogs in together and say we are no talent noobs because I guarantee you are stoked when a photog that knows what hes doing gets a good shot of you and is kind enough to share it BRUDDAH

 

photography is so 90's man, get with the time and do videos. MOTION pictures, what are you a neanderthal? This is MODERN times.
