Wildwood matt johnson

This is the single thing I like MOST about having surf cams pointed right at a couple of spots I like surfing. These cams make it look far worse than it is, due to the angle, sun reflection in the morning, and amount of zoom.

It really seems like it's gotten worse since the last time I logged in.

 

So start a tread and be the change you want to see MJ! Seems some dudes (I'm undecided) here like you, stick around.

 

I mean over all this site isn't bad just it seems like there's more trolling , more members with multiple usernames ect. SI and I had that talk along time ago. I just log in from time to time to comment to a thread if I feel the need too.

 

Someone once told me, it's the same as it ever was. But seriously, we need more good threads and less trolling, you can be a part of that, you can be anything you want to be Matt, don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

 

Keeping the trolling down is up to the mods. There's plenty for good posts here and sometimes you just gotta look a little deeper to find them. I don't feed into troll posts for the most part so if more members didn't feed into them their threads would just not amount to anything

 

Guess it depends what you consider trolling. I'm all about diversity and sometimes a joke thread is fun. Good to have surf related mixed with nonsense, gives an outlet for the jokesters. Just my .02

As for the mods, and I know you were one, we don't need em, we enforce our own lineup. Only thing they need to do is stop the spam... and Wayne, which is just another form of spam.

 

I have nothing against a thread with a bunch of members joking around in good fun. When it gets to harassing someone or taking away from a good discussion then that's when I don't see a need for it.

 

So you don't like O Barry? Lol Dude this place has gotten so tame, there hardly is ever a legit e-scrap anymore, this place use to be brutal, buncha softies these days, all chumming it up. IDK, seems pretty chill, and rather boring at times. Where's the beef!?

 

Don't even remember who that is. True I haven't seen any spam post here a lot but, honestly I have maybe logged on here 4 times in the past three years so I can't make a call if it's gotten better or worse. I just remember how it use to be when it was very clique'y and most threads went down hill at some point.

 

He's a newer addition so you probably haven't had the pleasure of "meeting" him, he's actually not bad once you learn his ways but he will call you a moron, he calls everybody a moron. Nice guy under all that though. Like I said, stick around, add quality to the forum, or don't, your choice.

 

I can say anything I post will be in a positive direction. I don't have time for negativity .

I'll be in Wildwood starting tomorrow at the Bolero motel in a celebration of St. Patrick and his Christianizing of the Celts a couple thousand years ago. There may be a knee high dribbler tomorrow that I may tackle in a drunken state on groveler. How's the sandbar down there this Winter? Feel free to stop by for some indoor poolside drinks. or go to Keenans on Saturday night and watch me beat up drunk college kids.

That's a valid statement! It really stinks, idk why I even log in sometimes... I guess I'm bored - sometimes it's funny tho and sometimes I can add info to help someone with a question or something or sometimes I can tell everyone that the best waves are in Belmar (so everyone starts surfing there- you know, crowd control)

And instead of threads going down hill 'at some point' - they usually go down right away lol


Idk - it's changed, but it's also funny and the main ppl all become kinda like Internet friends after awhile or something.

I even fell into it- I even changed my name- formally walkingonh2o - but I only have one account...
