Wilko beating Taj + Kerr & Melling in the same heat screwed me up!

Still have Coffin, Toledo, Igrashi & Florence in the race!

My squad has been cut down thanks to some insane surfing by lesser names. Good god Stu Kennedy!! Toledo looks to be the winner again but JJF with that steezy straight "R" makes me think twice.

I picked Stu Kennedy as an alternate. Do I get points for him. I wanted him in my lineup. How does this *^#$ work?

You're alternate surfs if one of the surfers you chose backs out after start.

    I think

    So I don't know

Good good miss Caroline for the lady picks. I stunk up my first paddle out in to the fantasy lineup!

Good for Wilko! I passed him up as a pick being naive...his backhand is so core!

Yeah frees up some $$ for my team! I picked up Taj too having serious faith in him. I normally try to stay away from the oldies & being too obvious that they'll do well but then when I DO pick them up they never do well.

Anyone have trouble with the site?

    1. sometimes when I log in and navigate to a new tab/screen it logs me out...then I log back in and it's at the tab/screen I chose.
    2. When updating team and you hit save, it tell you to wait while updating and takes forever. I had to log back in three times.

Fiji holding period starts in 28 hours!!!
Set your teams! 6/5 looks like it may run!

Brief Overview: Fun to mid size SW swell mix prevails for the first couple days of the waiting period (Sun/Mon). At this point the surf looks fairly small for the 7th-10th with a couple of modest pulses of SW swell during that time. The second half of the waiting period holds better potential for larger surf, although we are low confidence on any specifics this far out.

*Size is given in wave face height and for Cloudbreak unless otherwise noted.

SUNDAY 5th: 4-6’ occ. 7-8’ faces, mixed short and long period SW swell.
Swell/Surf: Mix of leftover, short period SSW swell and building, long period SW swell from a distant source. Lully on the larger, higher quality sets.
Wind/Weather: Moderate E trades through the morning, possibly shifting to a sea breeze for a bit in the afternoon before trades return in the evening. Stay tuned.

MONDAY 6th: 4-6’ very occ 7’ faces. Lully and slow easing SW swell.
Swell/Surf: Longer period SW swell gradually trends down as shorter period SSW swell fades to smaller traces. Lully on the sets as swell is coming from a distant source, but good quality when they do show.
Wind/Weather: Light E trades in the AM, possibly trending to a weak sea breeze through the middle of the day. Stay tuned.

TUESDAY 7th: Lully 3-5’ faces as SW swell trends down. Light wind.
Swell/Surf: SW swell continues to trend down.
Wind/Weather: Light E trades in the AM, possibly trending to a weak sea breeze through the middle of the day. Stay tuned.

WEDNESDAY 8th: Potential for 3-4’ occ. 5’ faces as modest, new SW swell picks up and old SW swell fades. Stay tuned.
Swell/Surf: Potential for modest, new SW swell to pulse in. Stay tuned.
Wind/Weather: Light/variable to light ENE trades in the AM, possibly trending more NE in the afternoon. Stay tuned.

THURSDAY 9th: Smaller, fading 3-4’ faces as SW swell potentially decreases. Stay tuned.
Swell/Surf: Modest, mid period SW swell may fade. Stay tuned.
    Wind/Weather: Potential for northerly wind.

12 hours before trading closes. It doesnt look like they'll run it tomorrow tho:

FRIDAY 19th: Minimal surf around waist or less.
Swell/Surf: Traces of long period SW swell start to creep in with small SE windswell mixing in. Basically flat for Chopes around waist high or less. May see occasional slightly bigger sets show by end of day.
Wind/Weather: East Trades around 14-17kts with partly cloudy/sunny skies.

SATURDAY 20th: Surf bumps up some with inconsistent waist-chest occasional shoulder-head high sets.
Swell/Surf: New/primary SW swell fills in further and peaks, with secondary SE windswell mixing in. Surf will be rather inconsistent; mainly around waist-chest high with occasional sets hitting shoulder-head high.
Wind/Weather: East Trades around 12-15kts with partly cloudy/sunny skies.

SUNDAY 21st: Surf holds with inconsistent waist-chest occasional shoulder-head high sets.
Swell/Surf: Primary SW swell holds with minor SE windswell mixing in. Inconsistent surf mainly around waist-chest high with occasional sets hitting shoulder-head high.
Wind/Weather: East Trades around 13-16kts with partly cloudy/sunny skies.

MONDAY 22nd: Surf bumps up a notch further with chest-head high occasional overhead sets.
Swell/Surf: A slightly bigger push of reinforcing SSW swell moves in. Consistency improves a little but still lully. Sets hang mainly around chest-head high with occasional overhead waves.
Wind/Weather: East Trades around 11-14kts with partly cloudy/sunny skies.

TUESDAY 23rd: Possibly another click up in size – STAY POSTED, still pending development.
Swell/Surf: SSW swell continues with at least chest-head high occasional overhead sets. Watching for a possible slight increase in more SSW swell with occasional sets potentially hitting a couple feet overhead+.
Wind/Weather: ENE Trades around 11-14kts with partly cloudy/sunny skies.
