If I was going to be in town, I'd come ride some waves with ya! Let me know next time and I'll get her to make some pad Thai, we can surf then chow down.

Here is mine, 17' Sea Nymph with a 70 Merc. 2 summers ago I replaced all the decking, flotation and wiring. It's light, trailers well and I can also take it out in the bay on calmer days.

Ha, my first boat was a 14ft tin with a 30. I took that sh!t in the ocean whenever possible. I mostly fished Barnegat Inlet though. It was a Duranautic and did 35mph.

This thing is great, it hauls a$$. I added 2 bilge pumps and LED lights all over it. If I want to fish in the ocean I call my dad. He's got a 24' with a 175 Merc.

Yeah, a sailboat like that takes real effort. I am guessing you kept it in a slip as well.

I came to a point in my life where I decided I am aging, and there is no turning back now. I would rather enjoy some things now, than wait until I am old and not as physically able.

Very nice. I bought one of these:

I wanted a center console Key West 17', but my garage is only 19'6" long. The trailer and outboard wouldn't work with that length. I decided we didn't really fish enough to justify a real fishing boat, and bought something that would allow me to skurf and wakeboard without added accessories.
