^+1 Broke the #1 rule: Don't be a D*ck. When you break this rule sh*t happens. Props to the locals for removing the uppity gringo from the line up.
Unfortunate, but this incident will be the start of something bigger in Puerto Rico. The locals there, are disgusted and confused with what the future holds for them and their island. The last thing they need are instigaters in their home waters. Absolutely have respect and GTFout if you screwed-up and were warned. Would you not do the same at your local break if it was exploited to the point of chaos and financial ruin? I would.
The way surfing is going, the home breaks will be totally regulated. Violence? Yep. More & more crowds in the water, limited resources, limited waves. Violence will rule.
Oh man SIS dawg..I missed this one yesterday You know it's rather disappointing that your tickling Barry's gooch Is he teaching you the fine arts of fumunda cudda...man I "though or fought" blue cheese has some serious funk I could only imagine the aromas....pungent deathly like Hey he is also Swell Infos number one moron so atleast he's got that grand achievement going on Well carry on and enjoy The Fumunda bruhskiiiiiii
I was just there a couple of weeks ago & definitely more people in the water than any other time I have gone, but never issues this time or any other. PR, HI, Mexico or even a road trip...don't be a **** & respect the locals in or out of the water.
yah mad max style for sure. there lies the potential to become a supreme ruler and have supreme dominance at said surf spot, and also allows you to have female slaves who lactate milk for you as so you always have a fresh milk source.
First time there this past February for half a month. I couldn't bring a board but I took swim fins and a handplane. I did open water swims across the whole mouth of the Domes bay (point to the rocks) bodysurfed big sloppy Tres Palmas and spent all morning in the water at Sandy. I'm fairly certain I could live in an abandoned shack and fix it up enough to make it habitable, grown my own food on a hillside, collect rainwater, buy a few solar panels, and leave the States permanently.
You have no idea how many gringos have said exactly the same thing over the last 50 years!! None of them lasted but a few weeks.....at best. But try if you wish.
