I've been having a lot of success with the mouth mount. I uploaded a good mouth mount shot to Surfline.com titled "Nice Sunday morning." As for paddling with a GoPro on a pole . . .this is difficult. You can use a Wallaby Surf Pouch to hold the pole for the paddle out . . .but catching the wave and getting the camera in position is still tricky. Mounting the GoPro to the nose of your board is the best way to get rid of shakes in the camera holding.
