Very Good O'triflin troll. This is an "I love swell hype" thread and I happily joined in. Scored it pretty freaking good yesterday. A little drifty but caught some near quality waves. Water is warming up...Love pring time. Flurida- I used to road trip down to Florida back in the day and one of my favorite towns was Melbourne. It's been 15 years or so since I surfed there last. I have been hitting up some spots in North Florida last 5 years or so.
Haha I nearly did but we made sure to bake and eat a giant breakfast beforehand. Some dude in the parking lot was hyping next week as a possible major swell event as well, not sure if he was on meth or for real but hey I'll take another one of these.
Yesterday in Jupiter, there was three SUPers that were pretty good, and I was dropping in on one of them (I tend to ignore them when there are waves) when I heard a loud roar/hoot and out of the corner of my eye I saw a spinner shark. It knocked him off his board. It's all over the news down here, the guy caught it on his go pro. Now he's a local SUP hero.
Welcome to surfing in Jupiter, spinners and black tips are everywhere. Bait ball passed under me yesterday, saw at least 2 black tips running thru it, decided to get out and hit a spot 1/4 miles down there road (like that really makes a difference lol).

It's the lemon sharks and bulls that worry me, especially where you were yesterday. Sometimes it's good to be in a crowd. Better odds.
It's a good one for sure, I bounce around to other nearby spots too, but it's home base from where i'm located
BH yesterday morning in Ocean county was off the wall. 1-3 ft OH every set, super heavy lips, all were pretty makeable sucks when you score a killer session, get a big stoke boner and then check the forecast for the rest of the week to see waist high mush.. i need to move to Indo -_-
