I made mine similar to hayduke, vertical - but used 1" pvc. Doesn't look at nice as wood, but it's in the basement.

I hang my longboards (that would not fit vertically) from the ceiling with 2 loops of rope/webbing. The back end had a hook on the loop to easily to take it out and put back

Here is the longboards from the ceiling: image.jpg

I used to hang all my boards from the ceiling. My van had ceiling racks, and fock they sucked to get boards out of.

Before I lived in this house, space was limited, and I had a rack in a basement bulkhead that held them horizontal on the rail, so i could stack 6 shorties in less then 8 feet of wall. That was probably the best for the space I had.

Nice rack. The bort rack. Kinda wondering why no pipe wrap or other padding on those resting points.

Redford: intro tread, honcho, intro tread. Don't forget to post up those pics of your woman's pierced setup, the buoyz need to hold a meeting on that.

Either way the contact points wind up covered in wax, they all go fins up so it shouldn't hurt anything.

Did pretty much the same thing.

    rack.jpg

Rigged up a pulley system for getting the SUPs out of the way.

    sup.jpg sup2.jpg

Got some big sturdy hose hangers from Lowe's and covered in pipe foam. Once I get my new LB this SUP will go up like the other one and the LB will go here. Easier for me to get it down.

Thanks man. Tricky part was building it so I could get it up\down if the wife wasn't around to help. And failsafes so if the rope slipped while I was raising/lowering.

Thanks Hayduke! Surfing is my fav but put me in motion on any sort of bort and I'm happy.

As for the P\P, rcarter hooked me up with that deck. I hadn't skated in like 30 years as the last time I did I got KTFO so bad I got amnesia couldn't remember WTF happened for the previous six years. So I switched to a "safer" sport...motox. RC heard about it and hooked me up and got me back into it, and I'm having a blast on it.

I just wish I could skate half as good as RC. That guy can kill it.

RC - sorry for letting everyone know you're a nice guy and blowing your rep. You can tell me to fock off if ya want.

Thanks RC. And once again, thanks for getting back into skating.

You still hitting that "left" you told me about? I still want to get on that sometime.
