I was getting out after a morning surf last Friday on 35th St,, OC, Md. Beautiful surf, nice south swell, life is great. UNTIL a guy approaches me and says he had SEVEN boards stolen from under his condo the night before. If anyone has any info on the POS who did this, please call the KCoast or Malibus...

I don't understand why people leave their stuff under their condo, or in the back of their truck, ect. I mean it's a nice idealogy that you can leave stuff out, but it's far from true. Sorry to hear, but I honestly think it has to happen to everyone once before they learn.

I had my first custom board shaped by WetSticks (remember those guys!) as a christmas present in 1995. To top it off I broke my neck skateboarding December of that year, got my new board, and due to recovery I couldn't surf until late June.....second day out with the board, I left it on the beach at NSIRI and walked across to SS to bodyboard. Times were much different then so i didn't think much of leaving it there, hell noone except surfers and fisherman really came to that beach. Sure enough it was gone, I was heartbroken!! Had to do construction with my dad for a solid month to save up enough for a new board......

    Anyways, lesson learned.

Do you or the poor guy who lost the boards have a description of the quiver so we all can keep an eye out? I'd be hearbroken if my whole quiver dissappeared over night, but with 7 down, finding one could help lead to the others and possibly the perpetrator(s). Karma will catch up to them if not law enforcement. Really sorry for their loss.

I think Malibu's and/or K-Coast has photos. One was a nice Robert August longboard, two Al Merrick thrusters, all I know....

I'm sorry... maybe someone can help me figure this one out... what kind of idiot leaves SEVEN boards outside.... over night? They don't steal boards where he lives in Ohio, so he didn't know any better.

I know how this guy must feel, Its so hard to trust anyone now a days couple years ago my backpack full of clothes (I just got back from being in Blacksburg) a fresh BlackBerry, and My wallet with 2 CC, atm card,120 dollars, license, car keys, and house keys. Were stolen from a PACKED Municipal parking lot. They broke into the car and took nothing else. these assholes had the audacity to use my CC to get gas and buy them self dinner at the Raven. Never caught the VA Beach Police dep. didnt do **** they didnt even follow up with their investigation let alone give me a phone call. ****ing useless pigs

Then a couple months ago we vacationed at Hatteras thinking that hey this is a nice town no one steals here so we leave the car doors unlocked. One night my friends and I went to the beach at 3am we come back an hour later to see all the car doors opened and all the cars ran sacked the thief stole about 300 dollars and 2 longboards skateboards. even though there were 4 surfboards right under the house and each car had an ipod. The *** was caught though. thanks to sheriff dep. they were quick on it.

these people are scum and it makes me sick how they can just take **** from other people who worked hard to get their things.....
