This morning I listened to the surf crash on the rocks during my 1 hour paddle on my longboard. Sun was just climbing out of the water onto the horizon, a few gulls were calling above. But no sounds at all from humans.
It lasted for the full hour. Refreshing, great paddle.
Then a vomit-head went by on his Harley as I strapped my board to the car.
