I just don't get it... I think Mason is the most natural surfer I've ever seen. I do not mean best, just most natural. He never seems overmatched, plays with death waves and just f**king rips everything. I think he's replaced Chippa as my current favorite. Funny though, Mason was my favorite a couple years ago, then Albee, then Chippa, now back to Mason. He might be there for a while. More than anything, I wish Dane would start putting more stuff out... its been too long.

What I find so refreshing about mason is every time I watch a video of him I see him do something I never seen, or rarely see. Surfing by those rocks looked sketchy as hell but he's just having fun. That floater to cross step/hang 5. So freaking cool. I think allot of pro surfers these days do a poor job of really representing what it is to surf. Masons surfing is the definition.
