Mah Trucking Barry Mouth Breather Fumunda Cudda Piggly Wiggly..... The best part of Barry's day is when I give him attention on a surf predicting forum I'm not telling you to start surfing Barry but get a life swine bruuuuuuuu
When I was in my teens surf racks gauranteed police harrassmant. FB cops were total d*cks. One cop had been farking with all the surfers so one day some one loaded his cruiser with sand when he was out on the beach. Dude went nuts and pulled every car with boards and wrote tickets for anything he could find or make up. I got a ticket for going 2 mph over the speed limit. Judge threw out most tickets and chastised him. He quit a week later. I have to say the current FB cops seem to be reasonable.
i donno cops suck, but the idea of cops is a necessity in a society where everyone always has, and continues to totally lose it. I don't really buy into that whole anarchist paradise thing where without any sort of law enforcement everybody would hold hands and sing kumbaya. Cops (and teachers) for that matter should be highly paid, highly coveted positions that are extremely hard to get, and extremely easy to lose for misconduct. The whole under-educated, white trash, or overzealous road warrior stereotypes that people have brought up here should not be the majority, which they are in many parts of the country. its not an easy job, and ive heard it compared to being "society's janitor" by one of my cop friends, but if we went quality over quantity in the caliber of people brought on by more stringent hiring standards, and the constant monthly re-certification of said standards we would be in a better place socially i think. 5 x-wing cops would do the job of 50 tie fighter cops, and a much better job at that. The higher standards would have to be reinforced with less open positions and higher pay for those that do exist, keeping the budget essentially the same. The demand on each individual officer would be much higher, and the reward for the increased demand much bigger. I want my cops to be able to do over 100 push ups on command, run 10 miles a day, and be able to take out a criminal with a gun with non lethal's with relative ease, not hide behind a gun and a badge and 50 of his cronies coming through with backup. I want my cops to know the difference between a criminal, and a punk kid and treat each accordingly. We need a de-pussification and intellectual-ization of the American Police force
As a teenager we used to skate the city parking garages at night until security guards would chase us off. Never got caught. Looking back on it I understand how annoyingly loud it was to those who lived close by.Goode times though.
I find there are many good cops but unfortunately there are alot of ****bags out there too. ALWAYS have a video recorder on you when confronting the police and ALWAYS turn it ON. If you can get a live youtube feed that records and holds the info for you as well. COPS HATE TO BE FILMED! They will tell you to shut it off and that it is illegal but IT IS NOT. Best response is are you ORDERING me to turn it off or ASKING ME. They will always say they are ASKING you which is a tricky way of getting you to turn it off. They also will say its illegal, do not answer ANY QUESTIONS THEY ASK YOU AT ALL. ALWAYS respond this way. AM I BEING DETAINED OR AM I FREE TO GO? They will NOT ANSWER THAT and will try and ask you a question again louder(this is called "force continuem") Its a police academy term tactic that officers use to try and intimidate and control you and the situation..... If they say you are NOT BEING DETAINED then you walk off but keep your camera on. If they say YES YOU ARE BEING DETAINED then you ask what crime am I being suspected of committing? If they state an ordinance against stakeboarding then just sit there, take the ticket and go on your way. DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS, DO NOT ARGUE JUST SAY YOU DO NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS PERIOD. Also, they CANNOT ID you for skateboarding so if they ask to see your ID, You DO NOT have to give it to them. I have cops in my family and also many many LAWYERS too. Every situation is different but the procedure is the same. If anyone wants advice on a certain situation they have been in in the past, feel free to post it and I will be more than happy to give my advice on it. I film police for MY PROTECTION AS WELL AS THEIRS ANYTIME I am confronted by them or stopped. They also will tell you you dont need to film cause their camera is on... ha ha ha... more times than not that footage is LOST conviniently. Cops hate to be filmed, TOUGH ****! ITS LEGAL.. If you dont like it then FIND ANOTHER PROFESSION!!! Nuff said
Touchy subject here. I don't have a problem with cops, Yeah, there are def some dirt bags out there, but there are also some pretty hard working good cops out there as well. DP, yeah, that officer seemed excessive!!!! It's focking skateboarding!!! But then again, you have so many people out there now a days taunting cops. For example, the open carry assholes. The idiots on You Tube who go out looking for cops while they are walking down the road carrying an AR15. The cops stops them to check things out and they get all bent out of shape. YOU ARE CARRYING A DEADLY ASSUALT RIFLE!! It's not something people see everyday, so it freaks people out. Of course they are going to come check you out. I have to stop, because I could go on and on about this sh!t! Go through life and don't be an asshole and maybe you won't get treated like one. And you know what, if one day you do get treated like one, get the fock over it and move on with your life!
Okay, so at lunch I am at the police station because I guess you can say I am affiliated in a way. Lady is at the front desk window lodging a complaint about an officer. Mean while her redneck husband is in the back ground getting loud and he keeps saying something about terroristic threatening. Since I am nosey, I stand there and listen before I go in back. Long story short, their daughter was harboring a wanted criminal and they were mad because the officer said he would kick the door down to get to him. Funny thing is, they don't see a problem with hiding a wanted person in their house, they only see a problem with what the officer said. The officer did not have a warrant, but the lady finally let him in. WTF is wrong with people?!?!
I hear ya Z, lots of stupid in the world, and dealing with it on a daily basis can be exhausting i'm sure.
I think this is appropriate for the situation.... LOL
And don't get me wrong, I will be one of the first to admit an officer used excessive force. But there are some dumb motherfockers out there!
Don't be a d*ck in or out of the water. So I heard a black man saiying how he had to tell his kids how to act with a polce officer as if only black people have to do this. What he said is what I was told when I was 10 and what I have told my boys as well. Be polite, smile, yes sir no sir, keep your hands out of your pockets, if you have anything like a weapon (bb gun ect)in your hands lay it down on the ground and let the popo check it out, take the ticket and have your day in court. You will never win a physical confrontation with the cops. If you beat one 100s will come. Never ever admit to anything.
It's definately gotten out of hand in my view. Policing/jailing for profit. I was talking with an older guy (80s) about police corruption and he says it's always been that way. I asked what he used to do and he reply NYPD 30 years. Said at least 1/2 the force was corrupt at any given time.
+10 I was brought up to respect others. (even though I don't always do that. HA) That's decent advice
