*MISSING - CASH Reward If Found*

Hey All,

Any help/info on the below would be super appreciated - offering a CASH reward if found!!

I am MISSING two surfboards and a Dakine travel bag. I want to assume they weren't stolen and say it's possible they fell out of the bed of my pickup as the tailgate may have fallen down while driving on Ocean Avenue in Deal, NJ. Both boards were in the travel bag and they are:

1. 5'6" FireWire Spitfire - 5 fin setup
It has the bamboo deck with navy step-down rails on the diamond tail. The left side of the tail near the trac was recently repaired and is totally clear and/or covered by a sticker (assuming it hasn't been removed). The board is a bit older so the bottom is a little yellowed. It has a black/gray/white Gorilla traction pad and an army green Dakine comp leash and was quad set with 4 Stretch fins.

2. 5'9" JS Blak Box - thruster
It is a clean new board and has a blue tractor logo with a blue "J" and black "S" on the rail. It has an all black Dakine traction pad and a black Dakine comp leash. It was set as a thruster with 3 Black Stix 2.0's. This board was ridden once and looks brand new.

The truck has a bed cover on it so I thought the tailgate may have fallen and they slid out. Pretty busy roads today with the solid swell around here but never got a honk or anything like that. I'm pretty inclined to think they were grabbed out of the bed when I was parked in Long Branch.

 

Appreciate you keeping an eye out! Starting to think they were grabbed as opposed to falling out of the truck bed.

Thank you for the info! I've been checking online websites (Craigslist, eBay, etc.) and called some local surf shops. Will certainly file a report too.

Yeah I was driving from Deal to North Sea Bright; got there and realized the tailgate was down and the bag/boards were gone. Only problem is I've never had any issues with the gate and didn't feel it open at any point while driving.
