Help identify this board.

    Picked this up in Jacksonville, FL., and have been surfing it at North beach jetty, Tybee Island,GA.
    Near as I can find out, West Wind was in business 1962-1966 (?). That would make this one of their last boards. Date on board is 6/66. Either that or it's the mark of the beast. LOL
    I can't tell if the pictures actually will show up when I post. Getting them off my desktop and into this post is kind of tricky.

    Looks like there is a logo on the boarde, have you tried reading that?

    Weren't many funboard trifins around in 1966. More like 1996.

    Did some research because I was intrigued by your board and your failure for a hello tread.
    Very possible that the shaper was Rick Burhans. He shaped for West Wind, Innerlight, and
    Seeker.
    It's a start, now start again with a prop hello, and naked chic pics please!

    Can never go wrong with an 8' beater. Glassed on fins? Hard to tell from the high quality sideways image. Glass on fins date it probably prior to '94 or so. Probably built from an 84R clark blank in a small east coast factory in '93 with the core shaped by a sweaty and itchy surfer dude scratching out a meager living praying for jesus to help him not get drunk before 10 AM because the surf is flat AGAIN. Other than that why even worry where it was conceived? Ride it, bust it up, wear it out. When it dies use the nose for a pet tombstone or mailbox art. It is a driver, not a collector. At least it is not asian, that one was made in 'murica- for what that it is worth.

    I know what that board is.....it is a piece of junk!! hahahaha!
    Having said that, use it as a beater. Ram into drop-ins with it. Collide with morons sitting inside the breaks. Just perpetrate mayhem with it; you will be glad you did!!

    Don't know what a hello tread is, but "hello", how you guys doing? Sorry, I don't have any naked chic pics, I'm married and 66 years old. I got this board for cheap in Jacksonville, FL. I'm trying to figure where and when it was shaped. Thanx to DonQ for the info about Rick Burhans and West Wind. I'm not sure what a 'prop hello' is either. I've never posted on any forum at anytime in the past.
