I taught myself (tried to teach myself) how to drive stick when i was 14 in my brothers honda accord. He replaced the clutch twice in about a month. Still doesnt know it was me hahaha
Legally you're supposed to be in a gear. Breaking can be bad on steep inclines. Typically I just use engine compression to break as much as possible.
Been fixing car for 20 yrs seen folks blow a clutch on a new car in 100 no also seen more cases we're they go 150+. Most that blow clutch quick are racing a moded car, can't drive or usually a combo of the two.
