Scored a 9'6" Dave Endress Pride single fin this weekend. I found via "let go" mobile app for $275 with no dings, pressures, etc. This board is gorgeous I'm so stoked. I can finally get rid of my Ron Jon funboard and ride a proper' longboard. Can't wait to test it out this week. It's looking green and small this week in the dirty Jerz, perfect for logging. Anybody have fin recommendations? I'll probably switch out the stock fin down the road. image.jpg image.jpg

Hahaha I'm an addict. Thinking I'll be set for a while now. Have a board for all conditions.

But you still don't have a boog, skim, gun, mini Simmons, twinzer fish, sup, a Roy Stuart, alaia, toothpick, kayak, wake board, inflatable turtle.
I wouldn't call it quits JUST yet

In general if you still have space in and around your house - you don't have enough boards

That's a very good point! Do have a couple boogies though and kayaks. Twin is gonna be on the list next and then perhaps an old school hobie or webber. Not sure if I'll ever be good enough to use a gun but I won't rule it out. Sups are cool too. I'd like one of those for the lake-like days.

Nice find!! What size is your Ron Jon? I picked up a Ron Jon 7'6" fun shape a while back. It's a fun boarde, but I never used it.

Judging only by the planshape and what looks to be a nose concave, it looks like this board is almost a HPLB that can still noseride, but set up as a singlefin. But rocker, bottom contours and rail profile would tell a lot more about what the board's designed to do.

That said, I think a 9.5 fin is what you should be looking at... too much fin and you'll lose some of the performance, too little fin and you won't be able to noseride very easily. Something like a California Classic or other all-around fin would be good. Other than that, you might think about a flex fin, but not needled out at the tip... something with a bit of area still in the tip, but with nicely tuned flex. If you go that route, you can actually go with a slightly deeper fin... 10" or so.

    Good luck, and have fun!

Thanks for the kudos brothas it was a deal I couldn't pass up. LB Crew thanks for the advice. You got it right with nose concave and vee outta the tail. Zero we probably have the same funboard mine is 7'6" also. You'll like it if you want an all rounder. Can substitute it for a longboard in small waves but I just wanted a legit log.

I am normally on a 5'10", so when I get on the 7'6", it feels huge. I figured I need something larger in the quiver and i got for $150, brand new. The guy had never even put it in the water.
