Nice DP sesh yesterday morning. Thigh - waist wind swell, occasionally larger, but clean because of light offshores. Overcast, but didn't matter much as long as the set waves kept coming. Some nice long green walls to skate on.. ~2 hour sesh then out and off to breakfast. Great way to start a Saturday.

Hoping tomorrow's forecast plays out .. early DP would be a nice way to start the work week.

    Have a good week all!

Same - we've actually got a shot at three days in a row this week (starting tomorrow) of clean 2-3 foot surf at the right spots with sunny offshores.

Solid weekend up here. Yesterday hit a reef break up north, probably 8 feet on the face and just heaving rights. The boils in the line up started to turn into rocks on the lower tide tho, so me and my homie got out and went and got drunk. Then after getting relatively drunk, paddled back out at a beachie and scored some fun chest to head high drainers.

Today was pretty hungover but still managed to grab a few at the jetty, but something felt off. The sea lions and seals were still in the water so i don't think whitey was in town but it sure felt that way. Then my buddy got bumped into the air off his board mid wave, and my instincts told me to get out so we lived to surf another day.

Whoa Trev. It's funny how we can get a Spidey sense of when to get out of the water even before we see the actual danger. I call it, "hearing the Jaws music"

Just hoping it's better later than it was this morning. Too small/weak/deep for a fish

yea its probably nothing, but its always better to listen to those gut feelings especially if they are pervasive throughout the whole session. Kinda the same way if your felling trees and you get that vibey feeling its probably better to pass the saw off to someone with more experience else rather then end up becoming a casualty.

Pretty much anywhere in Oregon, it would be an ear-splitting symphony

Surfed pretty good waves this weekend, shoulder to well O-head...but with 50 of my closest friends. I guess summertime is officially here in the PNW.

    ^lol. Only 50?

Waves where allright at times this past weekend but nothing special. My oldest surfed his arms off for three days. He seems determined to get the hang of it. He took a beating but paddeled back out over and over grinning the whole time. We all got a little more sun than we needed.

Looking forward to some thigh/waist SSE swell in Belmar after work. Gonna be a grovel sesh. Will hopefully have some stoke to repost on. It's looking relatively green and small in Central NJ for the rest of the week. Should make for a good opportunity to try out my log. Pretty weather here right now, I hope someone, somewhere is scoring -_-

this morning really worked out. light offshores, waist high waves in Maryland, some bigger ones early. Popped over the dune, saw this happening, knew it was gonna be a fun morning. By noon, it was still clean but really fading.

    Whats happening?
The wind blew onshore fairly hard all day yesterday and the water has warmed up so I washed off the workday messing around some sloppy peaks on a stubby before dinner. Wouldn't have paddled out if it was cold, too many duck dives, but in the summer it's good fun. The constant duck diving the high volume board and all the juking and jiving you gotta do to find the little pockets wore me out.
    Who else has been surfing?

Took out the log yesterday in some super fun waist to belly high peelers, with the rare chest high wave here and there. Lots of tip time and even got a few coverups. Beautiful day, with a bunch of guys barebacking it. I was still in my 3/2 and kept having to flush to cool off.
