true, 42 liters would be about right for someone over 200 lbs

Why not just post your asking price?
Location would be nice as well.

exactly what i was about to say. when a seller doesn't post an asking price it pretty much means their price is ridiculous and any reasonable offer is a low ball to them.

    just an observation

It's hard to put a price on it because the technology basically renders it new and I've only surfed it a few times. I'll listen to offers, I've had 2 so far but they were on the low end. It's not like a typical PU board that is yellowed, dinged, pressured. If someone really wants one they can get a deal on this (fins, tailpad, leash plus discount on the board obviously). I sized it completely wrong, I don't typically ride grovelers. I'm located in long beach but am at rockaway or jersey every now and then.

Edit: I'm looking for around $500 or so...deff not letting go in 300 range as its ~700 new plus fins, tailpad, leash

Well according to everyone on this board, Used is USED no matter how much you paid for it. Trust me I know!! Just sent you an offer, let me know. I think you are gonna be very hard pressed to get over $350 for it. I see them in the stores around here for 500 in that size. Like I said just bought a 6'2" carbon wrap out the door for $720 brand new but looking for another one for a friend of mine who likes the Lib Tech versions...

Yeah, I'm not debating that but if he found it for 500 new he should deff pull the trigger, but I can't let it go for 350

I can hold onto it. I'll probably take like 400 for it I just find it very hard to believe that local shops are selling them for 500. You say used is used but a board without a single ding, scratch, pressure is different from a board that's actually been used and shows signs of it. if you were gonna go out and buy this board for 680 plus tax, plus fins, tailpad why not get them all for 400 or whatever? It's really not that dumb

I actually think it would be dumber to go the 700+fins+pad route vs this board

could you elaborate por favor howd that happen? spare us no detail.
how long have you had it?
define: "surfed" it.... paddled aboot... shredded the gnar gnar, got ever so pitted, got it tossed into water...and so on... all important factors directl affectin the price. muy carrrrro, muchacho, muy carrrro.

yeah maybe but it will have that new board smell. which is, lets agree, worth more.
I know these folks on here, good folks they be... if they offer you aboot tree fiddy and half a joint for it - i'd say take it. but that's just me...in fact if this was my board - you don't even need the tree fiddy.

what kinda board do you usually serf?

perhaps pix of your mom/wife/sister will help sweeten the deal with the locals here.

I'm not taking 350 when it can be bought new for 500, that would be me ripping him off

Not for nothing but this Puddle Jumper just sold on EBAY a couple of days ago for $475 It is a CARBON WRAP and came with fins, a leash and a stomp pad.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lost-Surfbo...448800?hash=item2a695ed420:g:5h4AAOSwnNBXUAZR

It was USED and only in the water about 3 times. The guy got the wrong size. $350 for just the board is a good price, My friend would be willing to go $400 BUT would want the leash, fins etc... that you have for it. Anyone here will tell you that is fair considering the situation. I know its hard to sell something that you spent alot of money on, BUT when it comes to surfboards, they dont hold their value AT ALL,regardless of the condition, especially when they are used, once, twice, one week or 4 months... just my .02 cents... let me know.
