I will be flying into San Juan late Feb and need some info on how to get to Aguadilla. Does anyone know if there is a bus service that runs from San Juan to Aguadilla and if so could you provide a link? Thanks for the help!

yep, good for everyone to know that under 25 fee is pretty substantial.

You would really be interested in a "publico" rather than a bus. You can arrange for a publico in advance from the airport to Aguadilla. Or, try the Borinquen Taxi.

    Montysmi,

I'll be in SJ this Sunday through next Sunday. I have surfed the Carribean before in Panama, but never PR. I will be working through the week but plan on staying the following weekend (10/24 & 10/25) to surf.

I will be looking for a board rental so let me know if you have any advice. Also, let me know if you want to paddle out. It looks like this Aguadillas place is pretty protected so I was thinking about venturing out their and trying to find some cheap hotel or something for fri and sat night.

Feel free to call me. 770 853 3618

my friends and i went down last march/april and rented a car. none of us were over 21 and the fee actually wasn't too bad. somehow we got the rental place to only charge us about 5-10 dollars more each day than it would have been if we were 25+. i would really suggest renting a car instead of taking public transportation because you can explore the island much better:cool:
