Board #1 - Dan Taylor 6'6" step up (6'6" x 19" x 2 1/4") FCS Fin Set Up Board #2 - Channel Islands "Remix" model - 6'2" x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8" Dan Taylor is a great step up, I've ridden it in everything from Jersey Hurricane/Winter surf to point/reef breaks in Central America. Very smooth off the bottom and holds its rail on bigger faces. The Remix is a great Jersey shortboard. Its closer to the traditional 6'2" standard performance shortboard than it is to these modern, beefier shortboards. It does have just a hair more foam throughout the board though, which does help in Jersey waves. I ride this board in anything that has a face, from 3 foot until I need a step up.
