basically my buddy drilled a second screw hole on the side of my original screw hole. It works just wanted to know if it'll risk breaking or taking water, he told me it was only put in the plastic part. I'm including a picture tell me what you guys think.
Could have taped up the inside of your fin box and filled the stripped hole with epoxy, let dry and redrill and tap hole out again, but then again, you may be alright with what you did...just my $.02
I started a thread like this just get a bigger screw from the hardware store and an Allen key to fit it. Super easy
