Friends of mine in the finance industry say it's the end of the world, others say Britain will rebound and it's just initial uncertainty. Glad my money's in utilities!

This is what happens when you have your head up your arse your whole life.

This is great news. Let the economy suffer a bit, in the long run liberty is more important…Good for the Brits…time to follow suit.

It is indeed a buying opportunity. But mostly for blue chips, etc.
The economy will restructure itself over the next few months and all will be well again. My portfolio is down 3% today. Big deal. In October 1987 (Black Monday) it was down 25%. Today is a bump in the road, nothing more than a burp.
Buy today, be richer later. If you can, do it.
It is NOT a day to sell!!

Yes it is. Then wait for it to drop and buy back. I switched 80% of my money to bonds with the hope the market tanks to 15,000 or below. When this happens I go back to stocks. I did this in 2008 after Lehman and bought back at 7,000. Fungus = smart.

Dude, the jobs aren't coming back regardless of what we do with trade agreements. Automation automation automation. It is coming for all our jobs.

eh some jobs, there's new industries emerging that robots can't simply be a part of. It's interesting, my gut tells me the common man in the U.K voted to leave due to the mass migration of immigrants coming from the middle east, but didn't necessarily consider the economic effects. Regardless, the quota put on by the EU was stupid and now they're regretting it.

I'm very familiar with global politics and globalization.

So, you want the USA to have a policy isolating itself from the rest of the world?

I want sovereignty. So we can prosper as a country, keep foreign interests out of our politics. I want a coal miner in WV to not lose a job and end up working at Walmart to a fake reusable energy company from Europe. If thats isolation, than so be it.
