    Question on BILL

Ive never seen any report like this. And if all happens.... Will anywhere be rideable on a long period swell this big. I have a few ideas of where to go but a swell like this on the east coast is unheard of.

    Any opinions.....

Just check the report Ryan, nature is funny and the reports are just an idea of what could happen. It will be maxed out across the bridge and I am sure no less than 50 broken boards, plenty of stitches and hundreds staying dry on the sand.

holy s***. there are 3 different ways for you to answer this question by yourself.

    1. look at the wonderful little green/blue/red men on the side of the rodanthe report.

    2. look at the chart at the top of the rodanthe report and see when the swell is at the "head" line

    3. wave maps

    damn people are lazy

    Micah,

Thanks for the work you are doing in advance of this swell.

I have found myself trying to explain to people who don't surf what triple overhead means, and I suppose I am just not articulate enough to convey the meaning.

Any suggestions? How about relative to the pier in south OC MD?

    How often does this happen?

Been watching the forecast grow and grow. Just wondering if a long time EC surfer could answer : On average how often does the East Coast get a forecast for double O or triple O? Is this a 1, 5, 10, or 20 year event? I'm asking because this swell I will be cheering everyone on from the sand -This one is WAY outside of my skill set and I don't want to hurt anybody ;)

    But maybe someday.......

I got a lotta respect for those of you paddling out! Be safe and have fun!!!! :D

    Hurricane Bill

I thought it would be interesting if everyone shared what board(s) they play on using for the upcoming swell.

I'll be bringing my JS combat 6'3 and 5'8 CI pod.

Keep hyping it up you morons.....I can't believe how much hype is already starting with this damn storm.

Don't get me wrong, it's gonna be good, but do we really have to talk about what boards we're gonna ride??
