Traveling in 2 months & wondering if I can bring a carver as one of my carry-ons? I'm flying United* in the states. The websites say: One carry-on bag no more than 45 linear inches or 114 linear centimeters (L + W + H) or 14 inches x 9 inches x 22 inches (23 x 35 x 56 cm) One personal item (such as a shoulder or laptop bag). I will have a backpack with some travel essentials & clothes as 1 carry on.
Don't know aboot the Carver but be careful if you bring a Taylor
Ah Caroline hit me on the PM I'll link you to the insta were it goes down in the DM You need a backpack that has straps for your board...tsa won't let it go through without Hey all those super cool power slides people do on carver boards I can do on a real skateboard You know the kinez real men use How aboot that
barry u ever get hassled aboot the walker? i always wondered... how often do you change the tennis balls?
This is partly true. The backpack with straps is money for carrying a skate with you on a flight. It fits right in as one in the overhead unless you overpacked the bag. TSA doesn't give a damn about much. It's the flight attendants and gate agents. TSA has told me to rip it on my way to the gate way more often than they've given me a dirty look. It's one or the other though and they either love it or hate it. If you fly out of Sea-Tac on JetBlue, their gate staff will get stoked if you rip the skate down the hall.
