For f*ck sakes I hope you're joking, it's the ocean dude, why would you be surprised!? Especially in the Summer. I got brushed by a large fish this evening, not sure how large or what it was but it was powerful.

+1.. that group in the video looks exactly like the little guys that showed up at rock last summer too. saw them harassing some fish around the line up. 5-6 4" dorsals circling around. they probably more scared of you then you should be of them. that being said, they'll f*ck you up.

 

That's a very common place for fish to be. There is usually a trough between the sandbar and the beach. The waves and the current stir up the sand so bait fish and crustaceans are in there doing their thing. Next come the game fish and sharks looking for a quick bite.
