Hey, my dad and I are coming up to see the boys beat the yankees this friday night. Just so happens there might be a little wave. Are there any locals on here who would be kind enough to give us some hints? I know most spots are going to be shutting down. If we show up at your break i promise we are extremely quiet and polite. We are able to go anywhere between Rhode Island and Maine. We would really appreciate any help.

try narragansette town beach, its semi easy to find and with this swell it'll be firing since the beach faces S. only thing is u gotta pay around 16 $ i think to park and get access to the beach. and id advise u walk down the beach away from the crowds ironically enough you only have to go about a 1/8-1/4 mile to avoid massive crowds

Gansett town beach is a safe bet. If the conditions are as big as they might be I'd say circle the sea wall a few times looking for a spot (get their real early to make it easier) and go in off the rocks. That way you won't have to paddle out from the beach - save some energy - and you won't have to pay. They do charge $10 to park (across the street from the beach in a field) and $5 for a day pass.
All along Rt.1 South there are alot of state beaches. Gansett is owned by the town not the state so they can charge to park and to get on the beach. At the state beach you pay to park and that also gets you on the beach.
