Ding Ding Ding!!!! I've become very lazy. If I had to drive more than 15 minutes I'd take up another hobby. I could walk if I wanted to but most of the time I ride my bike. I only drive if I'm in a hurry or if I'm taking multiple boards or the family along.
if I drove a beetle I would take it to the desert and shoot it. living on the eastcoast I don't think there is a need for a dedicated surf vehicle.not like we can surf everyday.im not one for fancy cars,my cars a p.o.shyt I have a bar of wax fused to the glovebox for 4yrs now.idk its like being a stripper then bitzen that ur wearing skimpy clothes.whats wrong with salt and sand?
I use to have a 95 Land rover Discovery . It was my go anywhere do anything Surf Vehicle . I had it Set up with a water tank to wash off after sessions and I had a Hammock to also . I ended up throwing a Rod in the Engine and after that I had a 89 Chevy C-10 Van. I got it for 500 dollars , Dumped a fresh motor in its I had on a engine stand and redid the interior . I sold it eventually cause I started driving far for work and I needed to put a down payment on a new car
I have a dedicated surf bicycle. I rarely surf where a car is required. Lots of options within 2 miles of my house.
