We just bought one for our 4 year old yesterday. However we got the 7 foot paddleboard. They didn't have any more 8 footers left. Might be a little wide for him to paddle on but I can push him to catch waves. Can't beat the price. Looking forward to trying it out myself. I think it was Jamie O'brien who took one and to pipeline if I'm not mistaken.

Saw an 8' at BJ's (not sure what brand) for $69.99 last week... it was the last one in the carton, so people are buying.

Costco SurfShop always has the latest shred sticks

There used to be a saying at my old surfborting break: "no foam, go home"

I guess I would be sent packing. HA There is a certain break near me where a foamy would be fun to have because whenever there is any type of swell, they drop in and literally just run right into each other. I mean, like they don't even try to turn, just straight into you. On days with any size, I sit down a little from the peak and just watch the idiots.

Just came back from Mrytle Beach with the family. The wavestorm performance in the small wind chop would have made Kenny Powers proud. The board is a wave catching machine kids loved it. Best hundred bucks I have spent in a long time.

There is NO break that exists where a foamy is fun. Doesn't exist......unless you are a stoner.....

Well, this spot is usually full of tourons and a couple locals that love their spot. So you usually see quite a few foamies. Like I said, I do like surfing this spot when there is a little size and right direction, but I don't sit on the one wave peak with the 50 other idiots.

    Hey Cap!

Yes that little fish is a Costco board brah! Full on!

It's tiny (for me anyways) at 5'8. But floats well. Super fun! I got it a few years ago- idk if they still sell that one- but I have seen them on the web for cheap too- I think it was 60$ at at time.

At this point- I'm just saving that board for my son- so when he gets old enough he can learn on it.
