As our eminent weather scholar FLSURFDOGG pointed out, there is a new low developing near the Antilles, predicted to move up the east coast so far, not too close to the coast, not too far. The models are all over the place on it at this point. Flhurricane.com wrote this just now: "Although unlikely, the CMC does show this system making landfall in East Central Florida as a hurricane on Friday. * Again this is likely NOT to happen." That got my attention, time to stock up on supplies, good dry run I figure.
Order your pizza and Chinese food and buy cases of Coke and buy cases of Pepsi and have your cellphones charged and your iPad charged and your laptop charged and have your 3G and your 4G ready and have your rubber boots and raincoats ready. PEOPLE OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA BE PREPARED!!!! Best of luck to ya. Stay safe. .
I just wait til that little hurricane link between forum and surftrips turns red.until then I don't get excited
OK I'll bite. NOAA does show a weak Low off the Southeast coast next week. http://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/day3nav.html
