Help keep beach access public in New Jersey town

I have parked four spaces down wearing sunglasses and reading a newspaper.

The reason the town gives in the first few paragraphs for trying to pass this is Really interesting. Cause the residents want to part on the street... Haha what a bunch of balone!

First- they have huge - long- drive ways that could fit MANY cars. Not to mention some have multiple garages.

Second- the walk from the street would probably be considered be too far of a walk, inconvenience and too much of a waste of time- from the street to the door of many of these houses is easy 200ft plus.

Third- would they really want to park thier expensive cars on the street when they can park door side in thier drive way?

Fourth- I don't ever recall seeing a resident park in the street- even in the off season. Nor have I seen them trying to save spots out front with orange cones or what ever.

Fifth- half the homes are empty.

I could keep going... I realize it's totally a judgement call from myself - but this is what I see and the conclusion of observation.

It's nonsense and is really irritating... I know it's a pain to have ppl park in front of your house- but really what could you expect living a block from the beach? Go to any other beach town where a lot of home owners don't even have drive ways and you have to park 4 blocks from the beach!

Just get over it and be thankful that you live on the beach (as a second home) and have a rather large drive way (that is probably bigger then many of our houses or properties)

Haha karma's a *****. Sounds like he was arrested for surfing at Casino. They're pretty strict against that in the summer. LOL!

 

Probably just pool hoppin'. Happens to everybody... eh hem.

 

Damn, didn't even know this all was going down at my local spot. **** be cray, gonna turn to riots if they and try and keep us out!
