I'm from long island and have been surfing for over ten years, but more than ever the last two years until i moved down to north myrtle in april, in which time i haven't even attempted to paddle out because of fear of major dissappointment and the fact that i work way too much...i need this swell and really have done no reasearch to find a decent spot where the swell will hold up...just checked the long island report= 10-15 feet and am jonesing hardcore. i'm living in brunswick in between holden beach and north myrtle... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and possibly monetarily compensated for
well im new to surfing so im no expert but i will say that this evening Surfside Beach (south of Myrtle) was not a good surfing spot. In fact, just me and one other person were in the water. He surfed for about 10 mins and called it a day, I hung on a while bit longer but it was just bad. Maybe tomorrow it will be different.. some of my friends went to Wrightsville so I am thinking it would be good since they know where to find a good wave but it will be crowded there.
me and another guy had a pretty decent sesh yesterday on 11th ave s in nmb, the bigger sets were closing out pretty fast but there was a few waves to be caught if u were patient
