Anybody switch stance when dropknee? I'm goofy, but most of the good DK waves around are rights. I can rip the ***t out of a left, but I can barely make the bottom turn going right. I'm way better kneeboarding rights. Thinking about trying to force myself out of my southpaw habits.

Anybody do this; ride goofy left and regular right? How'd it work? Did you start blowing up your backhand, or did you just end up with a st-st-stutter?

Speedy I suck on my backside dk...it'd easier for me to surf lefts on the few days I bust out the mini-LB. I say try the switch and see what happens.

Hi Cemmie hope you are well.

Never paid attention, so school me please...which leg is used as DK? Inside leg or outside?

    Hope this makes sense

Inside leg locks the rail in, outside leg/hips initiates turns and such, that's aboot all I can articulate.

I would never drop to my knees, to many dudes around I think it lends a whole new meaning to bottom turn!

Yeah, I understand. Those of you with itty bitty d*cks best always stand up and not risk dragging them through the water. A minnow might nibble them right off.

Also, if your job entails you spending all that time on your knees in back alleys, I'd get why you wouldn't want to go kneelo in the water, too.

Oh speed bump, I'm sorry I was just kidding. now what"s all this about back alley trists ?And if you do the implied in the water do you use a snorkel? Hookah? Scuba? Whats your preferred method?

    This is why......

It's too easy with you boogie boarders. I got my 4yo and my 2yo boogie boards for this summer. Can they hang with you while daddy surfs with the big boys?

    Hey Seldom :p, we good.

Antonie, don't talk with yo mouth full.

Am I the one complaining? It's fun jawin with you EC softtop riders.

Sure, they can hang with real watermen, rather than the "big boys" floating around on your limp sticks. It'll be good for them to have a role model. The fewer gender-confused kids out there, the better.

It is kinda too easy. Good thing people like you, Seldom. Thanks for a serious response, but... dude.

After switch go to DK 180 shove-its. Learn on an Ion. DK to prone rolls, inverts, and backflips. After a long boarder headstands; do yours. Remember it only counts if your barreled down the line of course. Soon you can be good enough for inverted DK 360s upside down on the bottom section of the lip in the tube. I'm guessing on A-frames. Now that I can't land...backside.

My friend does this trick where she jumps up in the air mid ride, and switches from regular to goofy. Just because she can :) it's fun to watch

Dude just start going right exclusively until you get better at it. Surfers and kneeriders all gotta do it too. Just takes practice. Once you get it down your wave count goes way up and you become a better overall surfer

first of all speed bump if you really feel the need to argue with a dude online because they were making a joke on spongers it leads me to believe your a summer sponger or your like 6, any sponger whos been doing it for a long time knows in the line up if u rip you'll get respect... but to answer your question PRACTICE.. take those days that are surfable but nothing special and just keep trying, i tried switch and i found it harder then to go backside and when i stand-up im goofy but do what your more comftorable with
