It's ridiculously flat here for the foreseeable future but I still check the cams just in case something unaccounted for happens to roll in. At Jupiter Inlet people sometimes write stuff with seaweed on the beach in view of the cam. Yesterday it said "Will you marry me?" This is what it looked like today:

Thought it was kinda funny. Of course, it has since been adjusted. What have you seen on the cams?

Thats pretty funny. They could have come up with something alittle better, though. I have never really seen anything

Oh the potential is great with that, I'd try to think of something werid to write.

Buahahaha, good work whoever it is that did that. Once I was checking the Cocoa Beach Pier cam and saw some redneck dude with a big beer belly doing the "Gangnam" dance with his shirt off. He'd do the whole dance, walk further down the pier, come back to the camera and do it again, over and over for like 30 minutes straight. It was hilariously weird.

That's funny. I've considered writing bs in view of the local cam here. I have however, thrown down a pelvic thrust or two, occasionally, for our Surfline viewers.

A few years ago I spotted a dense school of bunker, close in, on a local cam. I called 2 buddies, jumped in the truck and drove 5 minutes to the cam location. We caught 35-45lb Stripers nonstop, for about an hour.

Never seen anything on the can like that. Although just last week I was talking to my neighbor, he got a new job and I'm still pretty confused about what he actually does. He told me he basically watches the cameras in parking lots and what not. I didn't know that was even a job. I don't get it. But he told me he sees me pull up at the beach and get changed and go surf every morning. Kinda creepy. I have no idea where the camera is. I'll be the only guy there now and I just get a weird feeling like I'm being watched. But I don't know from where

In the summer, at Black's, some of the nudist people will write in GIANT letters down on the beach "NUDE BEACH. NO CLOTHING" and all this stuff so all the little tourists families don't get all the way down there and destroy their children mentally when they see a bunch of naked dudes playing tackle frisby.... Props to the creeps for keeping the kids out... With that being said, always take the south trail off La Jolla Farms... You can get right to the south peak without wanting to burn your own eye balls out.

I've never seen anything too weird; It's fun though when you see somebody you know surfing, or just posting up with some brews under an umbrella. I came in from a session once and I had a message on my phone. It was a screen shot of me surfing from a relative in NY that just happened to pull up the camera to see what was up!

I had the same thing happen. I was surfing at Betty's secret inlet spot. My buddy who didn't know I was up there at the time pulled up the cam and somehow spotted me there. It's not like that cam has super high rez and it's like half a mile away across the inlet. We've just surfed together so much that he was able to pick me out.

One time, as a kid in PR, I was surfing this spot called La Ocho (see Surfline). A pod of dolphins began surfing right under me as I rode a wave in. My friends on the beach all were trying to call me in to the beach, waving and hollering. They thought it was a bunch of sharks below me, so I waved back at them....with one finger. Then I paddled out and resumed surfing with my new pod of friends.....lasted about 10 minutes........

Nice! Similar thing happened to me at Ponce Inlet once. About 4-5 of them caught the wave with me and we rode it in together, they were much faster than me though and beat the section I couldn't lol
