In case you didn't read the news, Swellinfo released the Swell Info iPhone app this week. Lots of people, have tuned in to say they would like an app for their blackberry, or other mobile device. So, please take a second, to take the poll above to say what cell phone you use. Thanks,
Cams So I got the app is is pretty slick. Any chance of upcoming versions including cams or is it a Java issue since iPhones dont support?
I have the HTC Fuze, far superior for a techie to most of the phone above. http://www.fuzemobility.com/ Great site for open source apps for it. And here is for you iPhone geeks... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCYD3kAnR5U
I have to admit for someone whos not a big fan of the whole App hype...the Swell Info App is pretty God Damn cool!!
andriod G1...sick phone if you have one there's a great tide app that gives you tide charts for most breaks in our area.
Android is going to take over. I've got a MyTouch running on Android. What phone are you using Swellinfo? Is it a total rewrite to move apps from one platform to another?
ya, it is pretty much a total re-write. iPhone is developed in C+, and Android in Java. According to our stats, way more people access Swellinfo through the iPhone than any other mobile device. Blackberry being a very distant second, then Android.
Nice app... its actually the first one I've ever paid for! Just a couple of questions: What's with the 5 spot limit? Why ditch the little man surf height indicator on the details page for a wave icon? Minor things obviously...
I have the Verizon HTC 6800 with windows mobile 6.1, macromedia only goes up to flash player 7 for pocket pc, when I browse the site in opera mini it wont load the charts due to not having flash player 8, can you make a mobile.swellinfo.com?
