    Be patient....
1-when I lived in jax bch...had 2 custom dane perlee/pearson arrow boards stolen ..got both back 3 months...
Without a ding...when kid tried to pawn them

2- about a year later ..a good friend had his Takayama model T stolen.....2yrs later ...it popped up on Craigslist in jax...
About 5 of us saw it called our friend....he called sheriff....showed up at the house...and got his board back.

So it does happen...best part is watching the weasel twitch....saying didn't know it was stolen..bought it off a friend..for $50...etc..
    Priceless.

Always take pics of you with them and serial numbers and order-form if custom.
    Good luck .

I'm the same. I keep my boards outside against some palms in the yard. When i move off the beach during the summer, if i have a backyard then i do the same. Just material things like ya said, even though it sux. I've had bikes and a nice gas grill stolen, all of which was locked up. Big believer in karma, and i've seen it take its course. Hopefully, you'll find it and this post bumps you up the grid

Great advice. I hope you get it back, looks fun.
I'd tell the shops as far as santa cruz.
And you can set up a craigslist email alert via ifttt.com too so you don't have to check every day.

Once you get it back, take the fukers ear, or scalp. Just wear gloves.

There should be a law just against stealing surfboards. Punishment is being injected with AIDS.

Do people typically secure their boards when bringing more than one to the beach? Seems like most people at the places I've gone will leave their 'extra' board on the roof or in the bed of the truck while they are out in the water. I'll throw my shorter board in my car when I use my longboard but have also left the longboard on the roof without issues to date.

I hide my extra, when it's hot out. Not telling where tho.
