My new go to is Double Barrel surf wax. Don't remember how I came across it but I did a few months ago. It's made in California somewhere, I buy it off Amazon. Not much pricier than Sticky Bumps or the other regular brands but I find it way tackier. I'm sold on it

 

I use sticky bumps usually just because that's what I see most around here. Plus we have those 25 or 50 cent wax vending machines around here and they only have sticky bumps in them. Wax is wax to me.

Don't use base coat. I don't know if this is normal or if I'm a genius. But I put wax on, then take my hand and push down on the deck while sliding my hand back and forth. It smooshes any little loose wax onto the deck so wax didn't come off.

Also, as a teen I had a little round mr. Zog sex wax container with the wax comb on the lid in my room. It had a bar of wax in there and I also kept my condoms in there. Now the smell of wax really turns me on
