Get 'em at least a couple times a year. Matter of fact, we had one like this upcoming one at pretty much the same exact time last year. Then at least one during the dead of winter. Sometimes Oregon gets 'em, sometimes WA gets 'em. Sometimes we both get 'em. BTW, forecast is calling for a peak of 26' at 16 seconds this weekend. Probably check out the carnage at high tide, there's some expensive condos that has been losing beach every year. This might be the year they get swamped. For those of you that are interested, Google "Washaway Beach". You'll be shocked. And if you want to be even more shocked, Google Earth it. You've never seen so many single wides with tires on the roof next to pristine coastland. Funny, yet sad.
I lived in Syracuse and Buffalo... I've seen enough snow for everyone on Swell Info. The only reason anybody lives there is they don't know any better and inertia...
True dat. Flannel & booze & rednecks. Bama ain't got nothin' on upstate NY rednecks. Lived in Rochester for 4 long years; anything over two days was too long in that place.
Haha lived in Utica and up on Lake Placid. Snow for days. Vermont was worse though. And **** living out west there were places that were just uninhabitable.
Living in Vermont must be akin to being completely unabashedly heterosexual, but being confined to living quarters with only homosexuals around you. Vermont sucks; it really does.....
storm rations: 1 5 gallon government issue cube of water 1 30 rack crappyybeer 1 thing of propane to power camping stove 1 thing of chicken 2 rib eyes avocados and liberal vegetable rations 1 6 pack good beer assorted canned food and pasta in pantry already ready for the first storm of the season
Trey's got a thirty of Buschitt or or Nasty Ice, also. I believe the six good beers are to numb the taste buds.
For Hurricane Matthew I had case of Modelo Especial, Red Stripe, and Yuengling Octoberfest, in addition to a bottle of Voka in reserve. I don't do cheap beer anymore. Yuengling is as cheap a beer I'll buy anymore. Too many sh*tty beers have I drank over the years, no more, no sir.
