****, that was a lot of exercises.

Yes, on anti-inflammatory stuff, I was also told not to take any because it impedes bone healing. Actually, I am moving along pretty good now and have been doing all those exercises after week 3 or so. I am hoping to be on one crutch very soon and walking. It just seems like I will get to walking fairly soon but surfing and using back foot will be a challenge.

Also, I think that ankle brace won't do much, but taping may. I hear Achilles tendon injuries are a pain..as long as you are healing it conservatively, and it is not too bad, you're in good shape. Surgery for that repair is not an easy one. Worse than my situation with just a fixated bone. (they cast the foot entirely, etc)

NoPantsWitty, you do me laugh, I admit it. I have always been highly nocturnal, and do have some intense experience in healthcare, as well (elder was on hospice for six years, and the private APRN said she had finally made a nurse out of me, although I did not want to be, lol).

Glad you are progressing well, Tuono, just don't overdo it...

How is the news of your progression going, Tuono? Certainly did not forget about you, and hope all is well...

I drove my car for the first time in what seems like an eternity last night, and simply out of necessity, but that is progression. I have been feeling it all day today, too, because the ride with me is a 6-speed with a hurst shifter and the worst part, a brand new clutch. Needless to say, once I made it to the peak of the mountain, it was coast time downhill, and then some skip shifting, thereafter. I will give it another week, before trying it again.
