    Worth being up earlier than norm to watch JJF rip & roll. His celebratory airs in the final against Coffin were amazing.

    JJF has the intangible: class & charisma. Contrasting with Medina (none), de Souza (invisible).

    Will be fun to watch JJF go off at Pipe with no pressure whatsoever in front of the masses of home crowds.

    Dude is a freak of nature, much like Slater. He deserves it, he should win several. Not that I follow pro surfing, but I enjoy watching him surf when I can.

    JJF has been on fire all year. Started off winning the Eddie and caps it with a world title.That's a pretty good year.

    the kid has it all...power, air, tube riding, and can easily handle big gnarly stuff...and a great personality to boot, at least thats the way he comes off. Seems like a good individual and an unbelievable surfer...Go J!

    He's one of the only on tour pros I really enjoy. He may be my favorite surfer period. He can literally do it all. Iv been rooting for him to win since he first got on tour. Good to see him get one so soon.

    By the way if you go on the wsl website, there's so much complaining going on with Brazilians in comment sections. It's really funny

    ^^^^^ yeah man. That year that I think it was Mick in the running for the title, and he had a heat with medina, and medina basically took him out of it with a air at pipe. Pissed me off.
