Went out on the beach yesterday and found a pod of bunker. I snagged a bunch of them and let em drop. The tenth one and my drag started ripping off fast! IMG_20161029_133852.jpg Heres the fish

After hooking up like that with my feet in the sand I called my buddy with a sweet azz Parker. We hit it at 7:00 a.m. and found water like this IMG_20161030_164251.jpg After an hour of snagging and dropping we reached our limit. Here's the biggest one. IMG_20161030_143848.jpg If you can zoom up on the water shot! You can see bass rippin through that sh!t. What a awesome Friggin weekend for having no swell haha.....

Holy shlt! I have never caught a bass that big. Went out tonight and was surrounded by huge schools of peanut bunker and tons of tiny bass, like 12 inch stripers.

Zippy, what kind of boat is that? Looks wooden. Panga? Some sort of skiff?

Its a 17 foot starcraft aluminum 1967 model. I rebuilt and modified it to a center console and added some high tech electronics.

Thanks Zip! They're heading your way! Keep an eye out for the herring and full grown bunker. That's when we started seeing the bigger fish.... Good luck bro!!!

Damn! The visibility was so good on Saturday I almost went spearfishing. Probably shoulda. I got skunked that morning, but there was still tons of peanut bunker moving through. Just nothing eating them.

Same down here. Some Peanuts and tons of RainFish but no bass on them unless you get out on a boat to reach them. Ive got a couple of boat trips planned next month, not messing around this season!

Same down here in Md gin clear water. Last night i could see the stripers darting under the boat, swiping at the lures etc. Had an 18 incher just sitting under the boat like I wasnt there. I dropped my lure down to see what it would do and it kept attacking it and spitting it out. Stripers are really pretty to look at like that from the top down.

Water here in NH is as clear as mud. Or thick chocolate syrup. Such a pleasure.......

In other news, I did get to see a whale feeding extremely close to shore.

That was the smallest of them, lots a small blues in the surf, too. I call that a "not worth the fine" fish. HA HA

Awesome pics of the whale Z. And the size of the fish don't matter if it brought a smile to your face and a meal to the table.
I love this time of year. Action on the water and on land. Coulda shot a coyote on Saturday but a little Seldom Seen appeared on my shoulder and told me not to. I let him walk away. He was right under my stand. I could smell him. He had that wet dog smell. Deer are everywhere. Headed out of Cape May tomorrow for my first crack at the Strippers, I mean Stripers.

Got there an hour before sun up, lots of life in the surf. Great weather and water was very clear, it was a good day!
