I guess you didn't like the machados? Iv been eyeing those for awhile now. Also been curious about the rastas. Those speed dialers look good also for a board I have getting shaped right now. Unfortunately cash is a liiiittle tight right now so I gotta reel back on my urge to splurge. If you have trouble selling them and you still have them in a month or so, PM me.
Hey Bass...I actually really liked the machados in the hypto, but always had trouble with them In wider tailed boards or in boards with low tail rocker. The machados are essentially a larger version of the Merrick template but with a bit less rake. They worked great in a lined up wave but without the flip in the tail they didn't release like other fin set ups that I prefer. Speed dialers were a great set up for a smaller wave board with the fins closer to the tail...the get up and go of gear fins were unreal but I found my magic placement on a fish with the lock box set up and then had Wynn shape me a fish with the boxes in the same location. Worked unreal in that fish and surfing backside was a dream. Somewhat regret selling the fish but a speed dialers is one of hose boards that when I'm past the shortboard thing I'll go back to for the glide and ability to put it on rail. Thanks for the interest...I'll follow up if I have to drop the price...thanks! Bump!
The board I mostly ride is a custom that is quite similar to a hypto. So this makes me want to try them even more.
A few people asked about the twins...great for wide tailed boards and a knubster. As well the speed dialers are essentially a slightly less raked controller fin...get on it! BUmp...
