Several times I have left my leash after a session. I've lost two in Jersey, both 8 footers, this summer alone. Deal and Loch Arbor. I toss it and simply forget to throw it in the car and for some reason it is only the vicinty of the two mentioned towns. If you found a leash in either of these two towns it would be good Karma to PM me and arrange to throw a long leash my way.

Also can anyone tell me WTF it is that Loch Arbor residents are asking the governor and Christe to help them with in their affluent village? I tried calling the number and all I get is city hall. What's their issue? And where tf are my leashes? Somebody help me:eek:

Loch Arbor sends their kids to Ocean Twp schools, for which they pay some sort of tax - Ocean got $$ that exceeded the cost per Loch Arbor student, Loch Arbor's property taxes were kept under control, and Loch Arbor kids could avoid the disaster that is Asbury Park schools - everyone was happy. Then Corzine signed something that changed the deal for reasons that no one can quite explain (and Corzine & staff refuses to talk about it) and Loch Arbor's property taxes are going to skyrocket.

Odds are you'll never see your leashes again...finders keepers my friend. After dropping enough money on new ones you'll learn your lesson.

Did you use the Dr. Douchebag guide to the English language to craft that elaborate response? Now that's the question that allows you to go on a profanity laced rant that will make English teachers cringe across the world, please proceed...

chill out, shredda was just saying that guy is not geting his leash back. If i found a leash on the beach im not going to call that guy up and be like, "dude i found ur leash," when it is probably not his.

Ya it was me, just posting and taking a long shot at a free leash. No ill will intended, just bored and Shredda called it garbage to even try. Hell you never know someone might have a more leashes then they know what to do with, I got two boards and no leash. Kinda broke and words are free so why not just try. Cool though, don't have to really worry about them anyway after Labor day...

Its just a damn leash. If money was such an issue, you'd think you don't lose em anymore.

I've got 'em. Paypal me $100 to cover postage/packing and I'll send them right up.

I almost lost a leash in Spring Lake (but don't surf there it sucks). I got out and chased the guy driving the sand rake until he stopped and gave it back.

the best way to not lose your leash is to put it on your ankle as soon as you take the board out of the car. leave it on until you are ready to put the board back in the car. i see lots of people walking over the dunes at assateague and ocean city (md) with leashes already on. they never seem to lose their leashes. they must be on to something. ;)

Why is the leash unattached before you put your board in your vehicle?
