Winters suck up here in NE, but the one plus is that you get about a 5 month break from bugs.

I had a nasty time with lyme. Agree with AP - took me a few months to beat it and I am def not 100%. I still get the headache which was absolutely brutal. Worse than when I fractured my skull. Don't mess with it. Bulls eye or fever and you'll know.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Lyme's Disease!

I lived in Jersey for 5 years not far from Island Beach State Park. I was casual about picking these buggers off until I ripped one in half leaving its head stuck in my skin. Since then I've tested positive and there are some tests to "measure levels" but all in all it is a wild card- Bro.

    Welcome Aboard!

Thanks for asking and thanks for the gif of massive Asian boobies.
I'm doing OK. I tested positive for Lyme and they gave me 4 weeks of antibiotics. Doxy something or other. I feel fine. Looking forward to a nice session on Wednesday since I haven't surfed in nearly 3 weeks.

It IS an antibiotic, and one of the older tetracycline types; been around for a long time and they still work. If they prescribed that, the doc cannot be too worried about your condition. Sleep well and do not worry.

Doxycycline is the antibiotic of choice for Lyme. I hope you see a full recovery.

Dr probably didn't want to upset you with the AIDS so he said it was Lyme...
