The utilization of leak-proof tampons may offer an alternative solution... In the U.S., ads for tampons are usually over-saturated with women in white riding horses, running the hurdles, on bikes, or engaged in yoga and gymnastics. An apparent Russian ad for Tampax showed two women taking a swim at the beach when a shark jumps out of the water and eats one of the ladies whole. The tag line: "Now leak proof."
hahahahaha.....what is funny about that picture is that the shark has been photoshopped, attaching to it lateral fins of a humpback whale......
Nothing against Bradley...used to live on McCabe, got divorced in 2010, met new wife had kid 4 years ago. Now in tinton falls (her house). I like Squan but overcrowded, and my buddy likes Belmar so we alternate. The funny part is I work in Sea Girt (1.5 miles from the water) so you would think I would just surf there? Idk..just don't like it. And yeah...I bought one. Still in the box!
Yea Belmar is always a good bet... Sea girt can get weird and there is only really one jetty that breaks. I don't like it much... Used to love Avon back in the day. Idk how it breaks now tho. I lived in Bradley from 2000 and moved out about the same time you did in 2010. Many good memories...
Same here, had some good times in Bradley, my neighbors on both sides were the same age group (39/40ish back then)...summertime gatherings practically every weekend. Nice mellow vibe.
I did...I actually started surfing regularly again in 2008. I remember one of the regulars.....guy by the name of Andy? Asian, great surfer, if I had to guess in is early 30's?
Come to think of it now I also remember a longboarder, red headed guy probably around 50ish or so....he was always sitting at the 3rd ave peak....If I remember correctly he splits his time between Cali and Bradley.
Wow! I guess your legit and not a troll lol lots of trolls on here... I know both of those guys- but right around 2008 I started surfing more in Avon since the sand bar at 3rd ave really wasn't working well... but that was my normal spot for many years. Kinda miss it - but I know it doesn't break like it used too... i didnt have a specific board that I rode all the time- except around 2005 I had a sweet 9'6 longboard- really classic looking with red and white stripes. Other then that I had basic short boards and such that didn't really stand out. I did have a blue single short board that I rode often too...
You didn't hear? Austin and Mods been banning sharks from the ocean. Reason? They got big f'ing teeth!
Do you guys know a guy named Jim Ferrara, or something like that? There was another guy named Eddie Yanko, again not sure of the spelling. They were always around Bradley back in the eighties and was wondering if they were still around.
So, the kid that got bit by a shark in Ft Pierce the other day was apparently wearing a Sharkbanz: http://www.wptv.com/news/region-st-...-bitten-by-shark-while-surfing-in-fort-pierce "He also says he was wearing a shark repellent wristband for the very first time when this happened." Guess it didn't work so good for him.
